Shanes got a looong history of extreme motorsports and has been running this same rig since 2001 !!! He's used to working in and operating heavy equipment , so it's no wonder he drives his racer the way he does !! It would be an understatment to say he is hard on equipment ! At the 2008 season opener his rig suffered from fatigue and finally gave up after breaking the frontend in half after an incredibly hard landing on the nose !! Shane still managed to finish ahead of over half the feild at # 22 ! | |
